Alive Youth

The Basics
Alive Youth is part of Alive Festival running over the 3 days. We have our own venue, speakers and bands. The main focus of the events are morning and evening meetings where we spend time worshiping God with music, learning more about Him through His word (the Bible) and waiting on the Holy Spirit to change us and equip us to live lives for Him.

As well as the morning meetings we have youth specific seminars in the afternoon with the option of heading over to the adult site (if your feeling a bit old) and joining in with some of their seminars

Who is it for?

Alive Youth is about following Jesus better, so is really aimed at (Christian) young people, though you don’t have to be a Christian to come or part of any particular denomination.

A Typical Day at Alive Youth

2.15pm-4.45pm seminars or workshops specifically for young people
6.45pm – 8.15pm Evening Session in the youth venue
8.30pm the ‘after hours’ session will be happening at Cafe Connect next to the main adult venue until 9.30pm

So Whos Speaking This Year?

This year we are again excited to welcome back Richard Powney who is a youth worker and also works for Viz-A-Viz Ministrys in Essex. Viz-A-Viz aims to to communicate the gospel in ways that are relevant to the vast number of people who know little or nothing about the truth of Jesus.
